my Reflection

reflection logotype
At the starting month of the year, 3rd Grading Period ends. Meaning, it opens another period yet it cover 1 month only. On this grading period, I've learned a lot about the Adobe Photoshop. I knew its nature, uses and the tools of it. As for our activity, our teacher requires us to edit photo. We changed the hair color, we changed the image's color through black-and-white color. We also learned how to crop and change the intensity of color using the color-correction tool. And lastly, we copied a portion of the photo and duplicated it using the clone-stamp tool. Editing a photo is an enjoyable thing. We were also obliged to make our own movie using the windows movie maker. I enjoyed it so much.
But as I said a while ago, we only had a little time for the 4th grading period. Except for I.C.T, we also did more projects for other subjects. So we were really too busy. So after the periodical test, I finished all my requirements as fast as I can. Thanks to some of my classmates because they helped of finish all my activities.
This is the last grading period already. And as we finished the periodical exam, it's time for us to relax and enjoy the remaining days of our high school life. Moving on to the near future, we will commence already a new life as a students. And that is our college life. I hope that college will be good to of as well.

Happy Graduation Batch 2014 High School Students.

My Dream, My Future

Every person has a dream in life. You're an abnormal if you haven't. Dreams are those that you strongly desired on. Having a dream, goal, purpose and aspiration in life shows a very great personality you've got. You are ambitious in other way. Being an ambitious or compulsive person doesn't really bad. It's up to you how you do an action to achieve all of these. Nothing's going to stop us now if we are solid in aspiring to achieve these goal in life of YOU.
"In the world, nothing is permanent." Stories have its end; Novels have an epilogue; Essays have a conclusion; Songs have its last tune; and even the longest road has its ending point. But it's up to an individual how he/she ends up his/her story. Ever since I was a child, I dreamt already to become a businessman or an accountant. I have only an ordinary family having a simple life. But that would never be permanent. I want a change and I will start this change NOW! I will take up BS in Accountancy when I’m college already. It is all I want and nothing/no one influenced me about this. I am dreaming something new in my life. Now, I belong to a middle class family and have no possessions. We are having a financial crisis every time we are about to pay something expensive. Moreover, we are not that powerful to change the life of people around us. But in the future, I want it to be reversed and changed. I'll be the bridge that leads my family into a better life. We will be having more possessions than we have now and we will never feel life uncomfortably. In financial thingy, we will never ask for it already because we will be having a bunch of it. And at the topmost reason, I want to become successful is to have a power to change the life of people around me. I want to happen all of that with my family beside me.
Making dreams is very interesting. It'll be your motivation in continuing your life. Stay in the name of God and he will help you. "In Him have the pity but in you have the action." You made an action for yourself and be better. For you to succeed, believe in yourself. But once you achieve it, you should be as humble as bamboo also. In that case, you will be loved forever.

Change: It Starts with Me

Change: It Starts with Me J
Everything changes, doesn't it? All we have now and what we possess now may change with just one 'click' only. Like what they always say, "NOTHING'S PERMANENT WITH MATERIAL THINGS." But it's a good to have a dream, vision about yourself as well as to your country in the future and eagerness to achieve a change which will absolutely motivate us to act as we desire on. Let your imagination explore your curiosity to roll your nerves and function to achieve your goal.
"Future, future, future, you're always in my mind." Did you already think the course you will be taking up? Little by little, you are about to change yourself in preparation for succeeding in life. You will be becoming one of the molder of our society. We are teenagers of today's generation and we are the ones who perceive the saying written by Dr. Jose Rizal, "Ang Kabataan ay Ang Pag-asa ng Bayan." Through that, we can make a change. But for the prior truth, you will be needing first to suffer sacrifices and hard works. I will be taking up BS in Accountancy on my college life. Then after I graduated in college, I will start up in applying as an accountant with pure heart on my work. In addition, I will be productive on everything i will be buying. I will build a small business with an accompanied goal of "CLEAN and GREEN ENVIRONMENT." I'll make that possible through recycling materials. As a boss, I will treat my employees without discrimination. I'll really help them progress on my own hands. A leader is good when he can make his men working. But leaders may be well if he can make fun with his employees while they're working. I am planning to establish a successful business so that I can influence everybody for a change our country is needing.

If you promised something, you should do it. Be ashamed to yourself once you did not do it. Future is a vision of our new generation. And let that vision of tomorrow be productive for having a change from now. But before that start changing yourself just before other. For individual traits affect our nation. Let your good heart function and eventually, you whisper, "Change: It starts with me."

Kannawidan 2014

These January 29-February 03, 2014, we again celebrated the grandest and the most colorful festival of Ilocos Sur, the KANNAWIDAN YLOCOS FESTIVAL 2014. This celebration aims to promote the culture, belief and tradition of our region.
For this year's event, many activities were done as we celebrated the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. It was started by a concelebrated mass and procession in St. Paul Cathedral. It was followed by a Dancing Fountain and Fireworks Display in Plaza Salcedo. We also had he the Siglat Ilocandia Talent Search, which shows the Ilocanos what they got held at Quirino Stadium. That was an exciting opening for the event. The days after that was full of great activities and visitors particularly celebrities. But the most trending topic for the Bigueños and tourists was the carnaval and Bargain standed at the Quirino Stadium.
If you wanna look at the full schedule of the Kannawidan Festival, visit www.cheaptravelforwomen.com/2014/01/kannawidanfestival2014.html
For now, we are in the busy world. We're currently in the "Information Age." Maybe, many of us are stress right this season but it's up to us on how we handle all the situations we are in. Just internalize the essence of the saying, "If you have 100 reasons to be sad, then find 1 reason to smile." And when that reason was already found, came and existed, grab the chance and don't waste it.

Enjoy life because God gave you that as pretty you are.

New Year, New Me

New Year,New Me

Another year again had passed. And another memories also developed. As we are continuously growing up, a bunch of experiences are also continuously go on. Happiness, sorrows, confusions and every circumstances we made to come up. For this New Year that we will cover upon, many circumstances again we are about to face that make us stronger and may be weaker.
As the year 2013 passed by, there left my negativities. And as the year 2014 goes in, another attitude and capabilities will be changed. Last year until now, I admit that I am a thin guy. So I will prioritize my body improvement this year. Also the bunch of my pimples which I inherited to my father. I'll be more conscious and a sort of being protective to my face as long as my complexion. I wouldn't be more serious on my studies also not like before to lessen my problems. That's what I am this year.
Being me is unique. Perhaps they can imitate some but they'll never be exactly who I am. Another year has come again so let's thank God for he let us enjoy and cherish the beauty of life in every seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks months and another year in our lives.

May God bless us all.

my little reflection

My Little Reflection
By Christian Homer A. Buño
For every grading period, we are learning something for a specific subject. And as for this grading period, I have learned such amazing things. First of it is on how to add an image to a web page using the image tag. That is very easy perhaps but has many attributes (src, alt, align, size,). Second is on how to connect a hyperlink to widen the information on your page. And the most interesting part is we created many essays about all the celebrations we are celebrating.
Despite of all those things that I’ve learned so far, it is not escapable to have problems that I encountered. First is financial problem. Because we are lack of time, it’s not enough to use a single workstation only. So I planned to go to computer shop many times but the problem was I was even in lacked of money. And another one is perhaps our teacher was so busy that she didn’t have time to meet us and have a little discussion on the first days of the grading. We only are the one who executed the activities on our own.
Every problem has a solution. And I faced those consequences within the grading period. I thank God for always guiding me. And for the financial problem, I addressed that with the help of my father of course. I finished all my requirements after the final exam. And for the second consequence we faced, there came our practice teacher to guide us on some our queries for our activity.
Moving on to the next quarter of my fourth year life, I need still to strive harder just to make myself better than last year. I will make all my requirements on time and disregard those negative addiction.

true essence of christmas

True Essence
of Christmas

We are again in this special season of the year. This season is considered the season of joy, happiness, peace and love. This month, we celebrate the birth of Christ, our savior.
Christmas is a time to renew and start our love for everyone. It is very amazing when your love ones show their love and appreciation to you, right? All of you will attend the ‘Misa de Gallo’ 9 days before the Christmas. Children are roaming around to sing Christmas carols. And when the most awaiting evening will come, you are all facing each other facing to come up the so called ‘Buena Noche’ together. I love this month for this month, we can also take this opportunity to understand, forgive and accept those people having their sins to you. And all of that will be nothing without this true essence of Christmas which is love.

Christmas is for everyone. It doesn’t choose anyone or someone who will feel it. Being happy for Christmas is the greatest gift of God to us, people. So let’s cherish it in a free yet sinless way.

climate change

climate change
Universal
Change

Nowadays, it is already unsure when we are predicting the weather. So actually, we definitely need a source of information when we want to know the weather condition at the given time.  But does the earth really have the concern on what is happening to our environment or it is only a human’s fault which is only reciprocating to us? It is the question of everybody that is factually answered already.
May you look around? Observe your environment and try to balance the equilibrium on the ecosystem in your sight. As an observation, there is much building that was built nowadays compare to the trees that are being planted. An addition, those stupid people who continuously burning up rubbers and other chemicals which are now prohibited for the protection of the destroyed ozone layer. Yes, we all know that the ozone layer, which is our protection for the ultra-violent raise from the sun, is now destroyed. But still, we’re still obliged to stop that destruction to our Mother Earth. And as the result of that factuality, our whole environment is experiencing the so called “Climate Change.” It is the sudden change of our atmosphere. Sometimes, there may be wet to dry or vice versa. And that is all the result of human stupidity and foolishness respectively. Our ozone layer has been destroyed in view of the fact that we, people, are so fool that they’re always reminding us not to burn up plastics, rubbers, and other chemicals yet we’re doing it.
Again, will you look around? Now, what is your action to protect our environment? We should protect it definitely so that at least, we’ll lessen the cause of climate change in our planet.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunity

Equal Rights,
Equal Opportunity

Filipino is in a democratic and free nation. So naturally we are free to do what we want to. But remember: Everything has a limitation: there is a right place and a right time for everything. But do you believe that people have a right too? Yes, we have. We have a right and an opportunity to grab
People are the basic unit of the nation. Without us, this country will never progress. But because of the progression which we are wishing for, sometimes we forget the human rights and the emotions within the bodies of others.

First and foremost, every individual has a right to live. Right to have life, enjoy it and make himself better. Next is the right to be protected. We must be secured every time. Free from bullying, harassments and depressions. The feeling of comfortability and freedom. The right to be educated. And right to be accepted.

“To err is human.” But from that errance, let us earn a lesson, not a depression. We have a law in the court. So, fight for your right as long as you’re right.

Going Global through English Language

Going Global through English Language

“Unity is the key to success.” Language is the primary factor to have unity between two bodies of person or nation. In fact, we have a so called “Universal Language” which is English. We should uphold it. We should use it. And we should internalize the significance of it in our lives.
We, people, love to travel. Travel to a place where we will enjoy much. Go shopping, mingling with others, and meet new people and surroundings. So from that fact, obviously we definitely need a communication to interact with others. Talking is the primary way to communicate, isn’t it? Some may be through technologies and letters. Yet, talking, surfing, and writing needs a language to deliver what they want to say to you. Going to others, particularly to other countries, is difficult especially when you aren’t knowledgeable on how to speak the universal language. So be encouraged to use the English Language.

English is important to our lives. Why? Simply because we’re human. And we need to understand others at the same time, to be understood by others to live. So, let’s uphold the use of English Language.

My Little Reflection

My Little Reflection
At this grading period, I learned how to apply tags on the notepad application and how to make it as HTML file. I learned how to change my URL on blogging website and enhance my vocabulary as well.
Probably, this grading period is the busiest period I ever encountered. Our section needs to practice a lot of performances for different activities inside and outside the campus. Furthermore, we had a lot of school works to accomplish so we’re running out of time. So, even Saturday and Sunday which is supposed to be our rest day was used also to finish all our tasks and obligations we’re obliged to do.

I am hoping that next grading period, we will not be as hectic as this grading period.

My Teacher My Hero

My Teacher My Hero
Nowadays, many heroes are being found and spotted by their own special way. But being a teacher is one of a kind which no one can overtake. They are effortless heroes.
I know that being a teacher is very arduous, tiring and exhausting. They need to do their duties to teach us rain or shine. When they are sick, it’s hard for them to absent because their salary will be deducted. Speaking in front of students is very hard especially when the students are very naughty. They keep their hard feelings in front and suddenly they cried when they’re alone. So at their special day, I want them to relax and enjoy life without stressfulness. I live my teachers more than as I love my classmates. They are so special to me because that taught me everything I know.

There could be no doctors, engineers, lawyers, seaman and even teacher without teacher. Whatever life you have now, be thankful to teachers who lighten your mind to a bright vision of everything.

Unravel the Causes, Build the Solution, Empower Science Clubbers through Action

Unravel the Causes, Build the Solution,
Empower Science Clubbers through Action

Can you see your surroundings? We’re now in the modern world. Almost all of people use their gadgets to complete their day. Some have cell phones, some have their computers, and some also have their tablets. Technologies are everywhere. Nowadays, we can’t live without it right? It is now a part of our lives.
Having this thing is very important in our generation. In view of the fact that we’re currently in a modern world. Gadgets and technologies are a source of information, entertainment and even inspiration. Moreover, it is also a very easy way to share your talent, emotions and feelings, reactions, part of your life, experiences and many more. It has a good effect because it makes our work faster, more attractive and even more comprehensive. But it also has a negative upshot. It may cause you into being indolent citizen. It may also cause many diseases and disorders to our body functions. Furthermore, it affects our culture and the way of our living.

Again, having these things is very important nowadays. It may have a bad effect but it’s up to you if you let those out-turn happen. The future of our nation is in everyone’s hands. So lets do an action hand in hand for a vision of a bright and prosperous fate of our country.

The Modern Hero of Today's Generation

The Modern Hero of Today's Generation

All of us could be a hero in our own special way. There are too many things that we can do to show our generosity and heroism. And that’s what our parents particularly our mother does.

As your world began, the arm of your mother first embraced you with love and sincerity. Her first tear for you falls with joy and pleasure. After she brought you out from her womb, she sighed for relief and closed her eyes for a while to feel the proudness and favourable outcome of her sacrifices as we grow up, our mother always at our back to support us. In our generation, she always needs to strive harder for you to live without depending on your father. She guides you on her own particular and unique style.

So love your parents as you love yourself and your neighbourhood. You will be parent too in the future, so you should show them what you want your children show to you in your vision of future.

Wika Natin, Ang Daang Matuwid

                 Wika Natin, Ang Daang Matuwid

This August, 2013, we again celebrated the "Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa" which was spearheaded by the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) together with the Department of Education (DepEd).

Our nation is Pilipino. So we shall carry out our language, Filipino. Implement, value, and be proud of it. Let us express our minds in a more concrete way that leads us to achieve the justice, peace, progression, refreshing environment, and which eliminate the poverty and corruption that we're all wishing for.

A Little Reflection

                                                                     A Little Reflection

In my fourth year life, I discovered/learned how to create a blog and how to use it. I even enhanced my English vocabulary through writing a posts. We found out also the Internet timeline which was just a summary of it. Many things about internet, browser, etc. were unlocked to our minds this first grading period.

Actually, our teacher in I.C.T didn't meet us most of the time because she was too busy. And that was the problem I encountered. So we took down notes only. And I addressed that problem by reading those things and not to depend only to the discussion of our teacher.

I am looking forward for more information in the succeeding grading period. :)

"STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS 2013 of President Benigno Aquino 'Pnoy'"

"STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS 2013 of President Benigno Aquino 'Pnoy'"

Last July 22, 2013, Monday, President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III 'Pnoy' delivered his fourth State of the Nation Address. It has been three years since majority of Filipino voters elected him as as the highest official in the country. His together with with the Liberal party group's foremost slogan was "Kung Walang Corrupt, Walang Mahirap." But do this anti-corruption slogan really worked on the Pnoy's administration?

The fourth SONA of the president highlighted the accomplishments of different department of the government and the results of his promises during his 2012 SONA. Pnoy's speech tackled on the laws of Reproductive Health (RH) and sin tax. On his last SONA, Pnoy received loud applause from the audience many times. Especially when he stated that he is supporting the RH bill, which is now a law. SONA 2013 also tackled about the aspects of economy, jobs, asset reform, education, sports, government and ethics, health and environment, tourism, justice, urban poor, issues in Mindanao, foreign affairs and national security.

Pnoy used "Daang Matuwid" slogan during his first SONA. And it is really obvious that many roads are constructed to be a better and unswerving path towards one's destination. Likewise to our fate, we can also value this insight that leads us to a better and more advantageous sort of country.

GUTOM AT MALNUTRISYON, SAMA-SAMA NATING WAKASAN

GUTOM AT MALNUTRISYON, SAMA-SAMA NATING WAKASAN

Our health is so much important that we must not disregard. It is the condition of a person's mind and body. We must also consider our body composition whether we're a malnourished, normal or obese. For this month of July, 2013, the theme of the nutrition month celebration is "Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama nating Wakasan".  So we will focus on starvation and malnutrition.
Nowadays, malnutrition becomes one of the most common problem of our society. And we can't deny the fact that our authorities are getting bothered with it. We all know that starvation is caused by poverty that occurs in our nation. The two conditions are commonly coupled each other. Take for an instance that you're doing something yet you are starving. Do you think you can function good? Isn't it no? Likewise if you are malnourished. Your body parts cannot function properly. So we should take good care of our body and value the food we're eating.
We all know that we can do whatever we want here in our country because this is a free country. But we must consider also our health and familiarize ourselves to the nourishment that we are taking in. Eat fruits and vegetables to be healthy and to take care the cells in our body. This can affect your actions and thinking skills.

Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III
President of the Republic of the Philippines
    Malacañang Palace
JP Laurel St. San Miguel, Manila 1005

Honorable President:
           Greetings!
I am now fourth year high school student at Ilocos Sur National High School. And I am really enjoying my studies. In fact, I don't like to think that I will be going to stop studying for even just one school year. In view of the fact that I have my sister who is currently a second year college student at University of Northern Philippines (UNP) and soon, I will also become a college student already. So for that actuality, our father will endure more difficulties for he is only a vendor and perhaps (which I wish not to happen), he collapses in one moment of time. Actually, my mother died last 2011 so it's hard for him to proviide our needs and necessities alone. So I want to request you, Sir, to implement more scholarship program particularly for college students. In this project, you will not be able only to help us, students who have potential to pursue our dreams yet having a financial problem but also our parents to lessen the pain they are enduring.
I am looking forward to your actions about it, Sir. Thank you.
                                                                                      Respectfully yours,
                                                                                                       Christian Homer Buño
