Going Global through English Language

Going Global through English Language

“Unity is the key to success.” Language is the primary factor to have unity between two bodies of person or nation. In fact, we have a so called “Universal Language” which is English. We should uphold it. We should use it. And we should internalize the significance of it in our lives.
We, people, love to travel. Travel to a place where we will enjoy much. Go shopping, mingling with others, and meet new people and surroundings. So from that fact, obviously we definitely need a communication to interact with others. Talking is the primary way to communicate, isn’t it? Some may be through technologies and letters. Yet, talking, surfing, and writing needs a language to deliver what they want to say to you. Going to others, particularly to other countries, is difficult especially when you aren’t knowledgeable on how to speak the universal language. So be encouraged to use the English Language.

English is important to our lives. Why? Simply because we’re human. And we need to understand others at the same time, to be understood by others to live. So, let’s uphold the use of English Language.

My Little Reflection

My Little Reflection
At this grading period, I learned how to apply tags on the notepad application and how to make it as HTML file. I learned how to change my URL on blogging website and enhance my vocabulary as well.
Probably, this grading period is the busiest period I ever encountered. Our section needs to practice a lot of performances for different activities inside and outside the campus. Furthermore, we had a lot of school works to accomplish so we’re running out of time. So, even Saturday and Sunday which is supposed to be our rest day was used also to finish all our tasks and obligations we’re obliged to do.

I am hoping that next grading period, we will not be as hectic as this grading period.

My Teacher My Hero

My Teacher My Hero
Nowadays, many heroes are being found and spotted by their own special way. But being a teacher is one of a kind which no one can overtake. They are effortless heroes.
I know that being a teacher is very arduous, tiring and exhausting. They need to do their duties to teach us rain or shine. When they are sick, it’s hard for them to absent because their salary will be deducted. Speaking in front of students is very hard especially when the students are very naughty. They keep their hard feelings in front and suddenly they cried when they’re alone. So at their special day, I want them to relax and enjoy life without stressfulness. I live my teachers more than as I love my classmates. They are so special to me because that taught me everything I know.

There could be no doctors, engineers, lawyers, seaman and even teacher without teacher. Whatever life you have now, be thankful to teachers who lighten your mind to a bright vision of everything.

Unravel the Causes, Build the Solution,
Empower Science Clubbers through Action

Can you see your surroundings? We’re now in the modern world. Almost all of people use their gadgets to complete their day. Some have cell phones, some have their computers, and some also have their tablets. Technologies are everywhere. Nowadays, we can’t live without it right? It is now a part of our lives.
Having this thing is very important in our generation. In view of the fact that we’re currently in a modern world. Gadgets and technologies are a source of information, entertainment and even inspiration. Moreover, it is also a very easy way to share your talent, emotions and feelings, reactions, part of your life, experiences and many more. It has a good effect because it makes our work faster, more attractive and even more comprehensive. But it also has a negative upshot. It may cause you into being indolent citizen. It may also cause many diseases and disorders to our body functions. Furthermore, it affects our culture and the way of our living.

Again, having these things is very important nowadays. It may have a bad effect but it’s up to you if you let those out-turn happen. The future of our nation is in everyone’s hands. So lets do an action hand in hand for a vision of a bright and prosperous fate of our country.

The Modern Hero of Today's Generation

The Modern Hero of Today's Generation

All of us could be a hero in our own special way. There are too many things that we can do to show our generosity and heroism. And that’s what our parents particularly our mother does.

As your world began, the arm of your mother first embraced you with love and sincerity. Her first tear for you falls with joy and pleasure. After she brought you out from her womb, she sighed for relief and closed her eyes for a while to feel the proudness and favourable outcome of her sacrifices as we grow up, our mother always at our back to support us. In our generation, she always needs to strive harder for you to live without depending on your father. She guides you on her own particular and unique style.

So love your parents as you love yourself and your neighbourhood. You will be parent too in the future, so you should show them what you want your children show to you in your vision of future.

Wika Natin, Ang Daang Matuwid

                 Wika Natin, Ang Daang Matuwid

This August, 2013, we again celebrated the "Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa" which was spearheaded by the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) together with the Department of Education (DepEd).

Our nation is Pilipino. So we shall carry out our language, Filipino. Implement, value, and be proud of it. Let us express our minds in a more concrete way that leads us to achieve the justice, peace, progression, refreshing environment, and which eliminate the poverty and corruption that we're all wishing for.

A Little Reflection

                                                                     A Little Reflection

In my fourth year life, I discovered/learned how to create a blog and how to use it. I even enhanced my English vocabulary through writing a posts. We found out also the Internet timeline which was just a summary of it. Many things about internet, browser, etc. were unlocked to our minds this first grading period.

Actually, our teacher in I.C.T didn't meet us most of the time because she was too busy. And that was the problem I encountered. So we took down notes only. And I addressed that problem by reading those things and not to depend only to the discussion of our teacher.

I am looking forward for more information in the succeeding grading period. :)

"STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS 2013 of President Benigno Aquino 'Pnoy'"

"STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS 2013 of President Benigno Aquino 'Pnoy'"

Last July 22, 2013, Monday, President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III 'Pnoy' delivered his fourth State of the Nation Address. It has been three years since majority of Filipino voters elected him as as the highest official in the country. His together with with the Liberal party group's foremost slogan was "Kung Walang Corrupt, Walang Mahirap." But do this anti-corruption slogan really worked on the Pnoy's administration?

The fourth SONA of the president highlighted the accomplishments of different department of the government and the results of his promises during his 2012 SONA. Pnoy's speech tackled on the laws of Reproductive Health (RH) and sin tax. On his last SONA, Pnoy received loud applause from the audience many times. Especially when he stated that he is supporting the RH bill, which is now a law. SONA 2013 also tackled about the aspects of economy, jobs, asset reform, education, sports, government and ethics, health and environment, tourism, justice, urban poor, issues in Mindanao, foreign affairs and national security.

Pnoy used "Daang Matuwid" slogan during his first SONA. And it is really obvious that many roads are constructed to be a better and unswerving path towards one's destination. Likewise to our fate, we can also value this insight that leads us to a better and more advantageous sort of country.

GUTOM AT MALNUTRISYON, SAMA-SAMA NATING WAKASAN

GUTOM AT MALNUTRISYON, SAMA-SAMA NATING WAKASAN

Our health is so much important that we must not disregard. It is the condition of a person's mind and body. We must also consider our body composition whether we're a malnourished, normal or obese. For this month of July, 2013, the theme of the nutrition month celebration is "Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama-sama nating Wakasan".  So we will focus on starvation and malnutrition.
Nowadays, malnutrition becomes one of the most common problem of our society. And we can't deny the fact that our authorities are getting bothered with it. We all know that starvation is caused by poverty that occurs in our nation. The two conditions are commonly coupled each other. Take for an instance that you're doing something yet you are starving. Do you think you can function good? Isn't it no? Likewise if you are malnourished. Your body parts cannot function properly. So we should take good care of our body and value the food we're eating.
We all know that we can do whatever we want here in our country because this is a free country. But we must consider also our health and familiarize ourselves to the nourishment that we are taking in. Eat fruits and vegetables to be healthy and to take care the cells in our body. This can affect your actions and thinking skills.

Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III
President of the Republic of the Philippines
    Malacañang Palace
JP Laurel St. San Miguel, Manila 1005

Honorable President:
           Greetings!
I am now fourth year high school student at Ilocos Sur National High School. And I am really enjoying my studies. In fact, I don't like to think that I will be going to stop studying for even just one school year. In view of the fact that I have my sister who is currently a second year college student at University of Northern Philippines (UNP) and soon, I will also become a college student already. So for that actuality, our father will endure more difficulties for he is only a vendor and perhaps (which I wish not to happen), he collapses in one moment of time. Actually, my mother died last 2011 so it's hard for him to proviide our needs and necessities alone. So I want to request you, Sir, to implement more scholarship program particularly for college students. In this project, you will not be able only to help us, students who have potential to pursue our dreams yet having a financial problem but also our parents to lessen the pain they are enduring.
I am looking forward to your actions about it, Sir. Thank you.
                                                                                      Respectfully yours,
                                                                                                       Christian Homer Buño
